[ENGL] NIAGARA FALLS / EH CANADA !

Hai bud ! How is it going eh ? Yes, I did google "How to properly greet a Canadian person" before stepping on the land of maple syrup. My very first impression of Canada : Damn, the cops are hot in this country ! Little did I know the Rainbow Bridge had not been crossed yet and therefore, I was still on the American side of the Falls. I arrived at Niagara Falls (Ontario) on friday evening. I believe the country was informed of my presence as I was greeted with fireworks over the falls. The legend is true, Canadians are nice !

The next day I went for a boat ride on The Maid of the Mist. I'm sure the view from the deck was nice but I can't tell you for sure since I was stuck behind a wall of selfie sticks. I also experienced the Cave of the Winds. I got a free pair of shoes and a yellow poncho and that made me super happy for some reasons. However, the poncho did not do its job, I ended up soaked to the bones.

In the evening , I went to the Niagara Brewing Company situated on Clifton Hill. After a few beers, I felt really confident and decided to go to The Beer Garden Karaoke. So confident I even went on stage and sang Shake It off by Taylor Swif and boy, that is a tough song to sing when you're on your 8th beer of the night . Someone even yelled "make it stop", that's how bad it was.

My trip ended on Sunday and altough this was a short weekend at the Falls, it was enough to see eveything there is to see. I would recommend staying on the Canadian side of the falls, especially if you are under 21 and want to legally drink a good pint.
